Job Summary:
The objective of this position is to provide consultative sales support

Increase sales for CGI and meet goals by objectives as assigned by immediate supervisor
In-depth knowledge and understanding of technical sales process
Understanding of the business objectives and business scope
Ability to prioritize activities to best meet objectives
Must functionally understand customer requirements so as to be able to provide detailed price quotations and accurate deliveries of CGI products to representative and distribution channels
Must have thorough knowledge of all CGI products in order to recommend appropriate solutions for a wide variety of applications
Must respond to customer inquiries in an expeditious manner
Provide field support to representative and distribution channels when required and approved by immediate supervisor
Must have capability of providing product presentations and training to representative and distribution channels
Attend and provide required support at trade shows when requested
Maintain NBO log and NBO monthly performance reports
Maintain lead tracking and lead tracking monthly performance reports
Issue and track return authorizations
Provide quote follow up in a timely manner
Provide monthly sales activity reporting to representative and distribution channels. This includes sales performance lead follow up.
New business opportunity tracking and key customer reports

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Have thorough understanding and working knowledge of Visual Manufacturing
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Communicate effectively with peers and other co-workers
Provide the highest level of quality work at all times
Conduct oneself in an ethical, honest and professional manner at all times
